Nihad believes financial planning is ultimately about one question: What does a fulfilling life look like for you?
That perspective is what drew him to the profession. Long before becoming an advisor, Nihad was fascinated by the way markets, economies, and personal decisions intersect. As he developed his own financial knowledge, he quickly realized the greatest value wasn’t what he could do for himself, but how those skills could help others create better outcomes for their lives, families, and futures.
Today, Nihad works alongside the Curo team to help clients gain clarity around what matters most and build financial strategies that support the life they want to live. He is passionate about fiduciary advice and believes financial planning is most effective when advisors sit on the same side of the table as the people they serve.
Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Nihad immigrated to the United States as a child and grew up in Vermont. His experience as a first-generation immigrant along with a background in nonprofit leadership and athletics, has shaped his perspective on hard work, opportunity, and the importance of living with intention. He earned both a bachelor’s degree in sport management and a master’s degree in athletic leadership from Castleton University. Nihad also attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification after completing the financial planning certificate program through Northwestern University. In addition, he holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation, reflecting his advanced expertise in portfolio management and investment consulting.
When he's not helping clients, you'll likely find Nihad on a soccer field, out for a run, exploring his new home in the Washington, D.C. area, or having a thoughtful conversation that challenges his perspective. He is driven by lifelong learning, meaningful relationships, and a desire to leave a positive impact on the people around him.
