- Can you share a brief overview of your role within the company and what your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
- I am the Client Service Manager at Curo. In addition to supervising the Client Service Team, I also support the advisors and managing directors preparing client meeting documents, preparing various reports, processing new accounts, money movements, trades, and other client requests.
- What's a recent project you've worked on that you're particularly proud of, and what impact did it have on the company?
- The most recent project I worked on is the advisor reassignments for all our clients from recently retired advisor Anne-Marie Laboe to Atricia Roberts. This project was extensive and reached all our clients and it was important to ensure there was a smooth transition.
- I also worked on our Redtail Workflow project with our Client Services Team that ensures all steps are followed in our various daily tasks to make processing efficient and effective.
- How do you stay motivated and innovative in your role, especially during challenging times?
- Our clients keep me motivated. I enjoy assisting them in all aspects of their financial journey to reach their goals.
- Outside of work, what are some hobbies or passions that you pursue?
- I enjoy spending time with my family whether that is watching a movie, going to a concert, or just walking around the neighborhood and talking about our day. Outside of family time, I spend a lot of time at church. I am a trustee at our church as well as participate with our food pantry feeding those families in our community that do not have enough to eat.
- Looking forward, what's one goal you have for the next year, either professionally or personally?
- A personal goal I have is to continue living a healthy lifestyle by eating healthier and increasing the amount of time I exercise weekly.
- Professionally, I want to continue to build my knowledge of the financial industry. With regulations changing constantly, it is a challenge to keep up with the changes. Consistently reading and seeking the knowledge of these updates is critical in this industry.
